Are you ready for the world’s easiest protein banana pancakes?

With just two ingredients- egg and banana, these pancakes could not get more simple. If you love banana bread or find normal ‘diet’ food boring, this recipe is for you. These pancakes are a perfect choice for any time of the day and best of all this basic recipe can be pimped up to include your favourite ingredients or manipulated to include your desired macro intake.

To hit your carbohydrate goal, simple add 1/3 cup of oats (quick oats or oat flour) and a dash or milk of choice.

To increase your protein intake, add 1/2 scoop of protein powder

To increase your fat intake, add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to the batter or at the end.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mash up bananas in a large bowl or blender.
  2. Add eggs, whisking untill the batter is smooth. Add any additional ingredients.
  3. Fry in a pan with a little heated coconut oil. Cook for several minutes on low before flipping.
  4. Add your favourite topping or enjoy them nude (the pancakes that is).

Optional Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup of oat flour
  • 1 tbsp of coconut flour
  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp of protein powder
