Fibre plays an important role in controlling your blood sugar levels. Fibre also takes up lots of space in your digestive tract, which is one of the reasons why it helps you stay satisfied longer. This recipe could be the perfect way to ditch the bread and get you through to your next healthy meal time break.
In case you are wondering, fibre is a form of carbohydrate but does not act as an energy source in the way that simple sugars do! So feel free to fill up on fibre rich veggies guilt free!
