GET BUSY LIVING AND GET BUSY WATCHING

“…spend a little more time trying to make something of yourself and a little less time trying to impress people.” – Vernon, Breakfast Club |
“We all come into this world with our little egos equipped with individual horns. If we don’t blow them, who else will?” – Addison De Witt, All about Eve |
“Seize the day! Make your lives extraordinary!” – Mr Keating, Dead Poets Society |
There is nothing quite like watching an old favorite movie to take you out of your head, away from your problems and back to when you were younger! My favorite thing about movies is how hard it is to guess what kind of movie someone likes! Just in our gym family we have a teacher with a penchant for 90s disaster flicks, a scientist mum of three who likes Tom Cruise flying around in tiny aeroplanes (well honestly…who doesn’t?) and an absolute boss of a lifter who just can’t wait to be king!
There are so many must see films but honestly who has the time to sift through all of them! To get you on your couch and relaxing sooner after hitting some heavy deadlifts, a block run or a pilates class we have compiled the old school movies YOU love!

So apparently most of us like getting sad about the injustices of Shawshank and then cheering ourselves up by dancing along to Travolta or Bowie. An odd but excellent combination!
Happy viewing boss babes!
