Introducing Lizi Bright: Our Newest Strength Coach and Trainer

By Ange

We are excited to welcome in our newest recruit and coach, Lizi!

Lizi has joined our 23W community to support the growth of various new programs and initiatives, including Strength Beyond and Release, and grow our evening training offering.  You will find Lizi around the studio on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night and Saturday morning.

Lizi is an eternal student currently studying a PhD in Sports Science with multiple prior degrees in sport and exercise science and dance. She has always been highly active and fascinated by the body, so coaching movement is a natural passion for her.

She is actively engaged in teaching biomechanics at tertiary level and various elite sports research projects,
having previously worked across AFL, AFL Umpiring, hockey and soccer.

Who is Lizi?

Lizi is bursting with energy and enthusiasm whether she’s working with a bar or at the barre.

She takes an evidence-based approach to programming and an individualised, holistic approach to coaching, always aiming to educate and empower clients to grow their understanding, awareness and appreciation of their bodies.

Lizi’s background in dance shows in her eye for finer details, her strong focus on range of motion, balance and
coordination training through all exercises and by her constant grooving along to the music! She’s always up to join in your last set or chat away to motivate you through your workout.
