No Blender LSA Protein Slice

By Ange

Is it just me, or is blending dates hard work? If you are nodding your head in agreement  you are probably like me and do you do not have a fancy blender.

This is a stupidly simple recipe that requires only 1 mixing bowl. No dates. No blender and next to no difficult cleaning.

Each bar contains around 9g protein and is quite low in carbs and sugars. If you are looking to strip this recipe back further, you can choose to remove the choc top. The protein bar itself is quite delicious.

LSA is an awesome ingredient too. I seem to always have some in random jars in my cupboard. LSA is a blend of linseed, sunflower seeds and almond grounds. LSA is rich in protein, which helps to keep your blood-sugar levels balanced and curb sugar cravings. Better still, it will provide you with a good dose of healthy omega-3 fats to promote a healthy heart and brain function, and it contains important minerals such as calcium, zinc and magnesium.

LSA is extremely versatile too. So do not worry if you need to buy it for this recipe. You will find that there are lot of ways you can add it to meals for a powerful nutrient punch.
