Meet our new head coach
As 23W continues to grow, we have been on the hunt for an exceptional head coach who ticks all the boxes. Someone truly outstanding to help us continue to move into our next chapter. Out of the list of candidates, we were looking for someone with years of experience in the fitness industry and managing teams who understands our mum members and has incredible skills in building community and connection.
We are excited to welcome Krystal Wall to our 23W fitness family this week. With more than six years in the industry coaching and managing a successful gym, you will be sure to feel you are in safe hands.
Krystal will be around the studio Tuesday- Saturday, leading initiatives and programs linked to our member’s customer journey and overall experience. From a practical perspective, she will oversee programming, member appreciation campaigns, and coaching programs, including online check in’s. and ensuring consistency and excellence across our coaching team.
Krystal recently became a mum herself, highlighting to her the importance of getting back to training but also the difficulties that so many faces in finding a program that is accessible and supportive.

When you’re not working, or training like a demon how do you like to spend your time? Spending time with my little family.
Where do you most hope to visit? The Maldives would be a dream.
What’s your dream job? Ahh easy one, to design and make my own jewellery.

If you had to eat one thing for every meal going forward, what would you eat? Eggs…can be cooked in different ways right?
For what are you most grateful today? My beautiful baby girl, she’s a miracle bubba.
Ange Drake is an personal trainer, women’s empowerment coach and fitness blogger in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. She is the director of one of the few womens’ only strength training gyms in Melbourne, 23W. Ange helps women to learn how to use strength based training, nutritional strategies and a positive mindset to transform their bodies, relationship with food and mind.
